Building application submitted for CANYON: Premium office property of CV Real Estate AG in the Frankfurt banking district fully on schedule

(Munich/Frankfurt am Main, April 2022) Barely nine months after acquiring the property, CV Real Estate AG has reached the next important milestone for its premium office property CANYON in Frankfurt's banking district. The Munich-based developer and investor has now submitted its building application – meaning the landmark property at Mainzer Landstrasse 23 in the Central Business District, penned by KSP Engel Architekten, is right on schedule. By the third quarter of 2025, a property with 37,500 sqm GFA, distributed over 14 floors including a staggered floor, is to be built that is consistently geared to the future in all areas and combines sustainability, new work and exciting architecture. Christian Vogrincic, Board Member and CEO of CV Real Estate AG: "We are very pleased that since the acquisition of the property we have been able to rapidly advance our planning in all areas and have now achieved another important interim goal with the submission of the building application thanks to great teamwork. CANYON – Frankfurt CBD is a special project for CV Real Estate AG in every respect, because with it we will permanently change the face of the banking district in a prominent location."

The elegantly curved facade with its green "canyons" that give the property its name will lend it a special character and set new accents on Mainzer Landstrasse. The new building combines state-of-the-art office space for top-class tenants with space for gastronomy and retail in a prime location and is consistently aligned with ESG guidelines. LEED Platinum certification is also being sought, as is the Wired Score WELL Building Standard. Future occupants can thus look forward to a property that combines sustainability with the highest quality of stay in every respect – features such as roof gardens with breathtaking 360° views of the financial metropolis round off CANYON's special character.

CV Real Estate AG had acquired the property in July 2021 – the current existing building on the site will then be replaced by the new CANYON building when work starts. The project development in Frankfurt is currently one of several construction projects of the Munich-based company. Among others, the company is currently still active in the Bavarian capital with a project and at the Augsburg main station with the innovative office property AURUM. CV Real Estate AG recently sold the WA3 site of the Lichtenreuth project development in Nuremberg.
